How We Think About Pricing
A lot of AI products price themselves in a way that quietly punishes you for actually using the thing you paid for, charging by the token, the message, or some usage metric that turns adoption itself into a source of anxiety. Others bury the real cost behind seat minimums, mandatory annual commitments, or add-ons you only discover once you're already at checkout and invested in the decision. We wanted Kira to work differently, with pricing that's genuinely visible upfront rather than something you have to talk to a sales rep just to understand.
Three tiers exist, and each one is genuinely built for a different kind of user, rather than being the same underlying product with a handful of toggles flipped on or off depending on how much you're willing to pay.
| Plan | Monthly | Yearly (20% off) | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $0/mo | Free | 7-day free trial; tiered usage may apply |
| Pro | $29/mo | $23.20/mo ($278.40/yr) | Families and individuals |
| Business | $79/mo | $63.20/mo ($758.40/yr) | Small to medium-sized businesses |
What Actually Drives the Price Difference
It's worth being clear about why the tiers cost what they cost, since not every limit works the same way. Some differences are feature-gates, capabilities that simply aren't available below a certain tier, regardless of how much or little you use Kira. SSO, advanced analytics, and priority support fall into this category, they're switched on at Business specifically because they're built for team-level administration, not because Starter users are somehow being throttled.
Other differences are usage-based, tied to how much you're actually running, most notably the number of agents that can operate simultaneously. This distinction matters because it means upgrading isn't just about "unlocking more," in some cases it's about genuinely needing infrastructure built for higher-stakes team use, not just wanting a bigger number attached to your account.
What Doesn't Cost Extra, on Any Plan
Just as important as what you're paying for is what you're not being charged for as you use the product more. Regardless of your tier, none of the following affects your bill:
- The number of notes, documents, or files you keep in My Brain, My Files, or My Workspace.
- How many calendar events, meetings, or recurring items you schedule through Smart Calendar.
- How many contacts or deals you track through Email Agent's built-in CRM.
- How frequently you use core features within your plan's agent and workflow limits.
The only things that scale your cost are the specific usage-based and feature-gated differences described above, not how heavily you use the product day to day within those limits.
What Every Plan Includes, No Exceptions
Regardless of which tier you land on, you're never getting a deliberately stripped-down version of the actual product. Every single plan includes the full Kira workspace underneath, meaning email, calls, calendar, and agents all function identically at a technical level regardless of tier.
- The complete Kira workspace, covering email, calls, calendar, agents, and everything connected to them.
- Native apps for web, Mac, and Windows, so you're never locked into a browser tab out of necessity rather than choice.
- Voice Command, available from day one, for the moments when typing simply isn't the fastest way to get something done.
- Encryption in transit and at rest, applied identically whether you're on Starter paying nothing or Business paying the most.
- Ongoing product updates, delivered automatically and at no additional cost regardless of tier.

Starter, at $0
Starter is meant to honestly answer one specific question: does Kira actually fit how you work, in practice, not in theory. Seven days, full access to the core experience, without credit card games or artificial restrictions specifically designed to frustrate you into paying before you're genuinely ready to commit.
- 1 agent, genuinely enough to test how the whole system feels in day-to-day practice.
- Ready-to-use templates, so you're never starting from a completely blank screen.
- Manual approvals only, meaning every action taken is something you've explicitly greenlit yourself.
- Basic activity logs, so you can see exactly what happened even at this entry-level tier.
- Community support, backed by other users who've likely already run into the same questions you have.
Pro, at $29 a Month
Pro is built around a simple but often overlooked reality: individuals and families juggle considerably more moving pieces day to day than most productivity tools tend to assume.
- Up to 10 agents, each running independently without competing for the same limited capacity.
- Custom templates, built around how you actually work rather than a generic default.
- Human-in-the-loop controls, ensuring automation never quietly slides into a loss of oversight.
- Basic activity logs, offering the same baseline transparency Starter users already get.
- Community support, backed by that same responsive user base.
Business, at $79 a Month
Business exists specifically because teams run into needs individuals working alone simply never encounter.
- Everything already included in Pro, with nothing held back or further gated.
- Up to 25 agents, enough headroom for most small to medium teams.
- Advanced analytics, letting you see genuine patterns across team activity.
- All integrations, rather than the more limited subset lower tiers receive.
- Higher workflow limits, built for teams that naturally generate more volume.
A Word on Team Seats and Mid-Cycle Changes
If you're on Business and remove a team member partway through a billing cycle, that seat's cost isn't automatically refunded for the remaining period, the same way most subscription software handles this. What we do offer, and want to be upfront about, is the specific case of an accidentally added team member, if you catch that mistake within 3 days of the charge and remove them, our Refund Policy covers a prorated refund for that specific seat. Outside that narrow window, plan your team changes with your renewal date in mind, since we'd rather you know that upfront than discover it as a surprise on an invoice.
How Billing Actually Works
You choose monthly or yearly billing at checkout, and that remains the only real decision required from you. Yearly plans get billed once, upfront, at the full discounted rate. You're entirely free to change your plan or cancel outright whenever the need arises, and refund eligibility follows exactly what's laid out in our Refund Policy.
Need Something Bigger?
Some teams genuinely need more than what Business offers as a default, custom agent limits beyond 25, single sign-on for larger organizations, a formal service level agreement backed by real, specific uptime commitments. If that describes your situation, reach out to support@kiraai.ai.

No. Notes, documents, calendar events, and contacts don't affect your bill at any tier, only the specific usage-based and feature-gated differences described above do.
That seat's cost isn't refunded for the remaining period, consistent with how most subscription software works. The one exception is a team member added by genuine mistake and caught within 3 days, see our Refund Policy for that specific case.
